Do I need to book an appointment?
If you have bridal alterations or a formal gown, please call us to make a free, no-obligation appointment. For all other everyday clothing alterations, you do not need an appointment—simply visit us during our business hours with the clothes you need altered. (Calling is our preferred way to communicate during business hours so we can respond immediately to your requests!).

What should I bring to my bridal fitting?
For your appointment, you will need to bring the exact wedding shoes you plan to wear (substitutes, even with the same heel height, are not recommended). Please also bring any shapewear you plan on wearing, or accessories such as a veil, that may affect the fit or the overall look of your dress.

Do you offer same-day alteration services?
Yes! Same-day service is available for those who are in a hurry. Simply ask a staff member for details when you drop off your garments.

How do the fittings and alterations work?
When you visit us, our staff will take your precise measurements and carefully listen to your requirements. For bridal wear, multiple professional fittings may be required where our specialist carefully pins, adjusts, and evaluates the gown to achieve the perfect silhouette. Finally, the garment is quality-control inspected and prepared so it is ready for pickup when required.

Do you offer school-based traineeships?
Yes, we are committed to passing on our craft to the next generation! We offer paid school-based traineeships in Certificate III in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles. This provides hands-on training for individuals passionate about sewing and fashion. Work experience is also available. Please ask your school's career development practitioner or VET & senior pathway coordinator for more information.
